Kevin and Sue joined me on the lower Eden today. Sue who was a complete novice and Kevin that had done a bit on still waters some time ago took to river fishing like a duck to water. After some initial points on fly casting and wading on moving water the fishing soon began. Kevin got a small sea trout within ten minutes.
Sue was right behind with the same, her very first ever fish of hopefully a new pursuit.
I wish people would look like they are enjoying themselves!

Kevin started to get his rhythm, most of the takes came to a small spider pattern on the dropper.
A few nice fish, thank you Kevin and Sue, you were great company and it was thoroughly enjoyable!
