River Tweed fishing





Three day salmon fly fishing experience with guidance and tuition.

 


Venue – Upper Caberston

!4th – 16th and 17th – 19th September 2026


Course content:-

Safety and wading on the water.

Choice of fly casting outfits, tips, leaders, flies and how to set up and use them.

Knots.

Spey casting tuition, dealing with different wind directions and obstacles, casting further.

Etiquette on the water.

Playing and landing fish.

Various demonstrations daily and any questions that may arise.

Tackle can be supplied at no extra cost if needed.

Instruction and guiding from AAPGAI instructors Glyn Freeman and Jonathan Morris.

All lunches supplied at the fishing hut.

Three days fishing on the Tweed

Not included, accommodation, travel, evening meals and gratuities.

The course is for six people catering for all levels of ability from beginner to advanced, men and women, the choice of venue is chosen for it’s easy wading, the use of both banks and the variation of pools. There will be a good chance of salmon and sea trout conditions permitting.
