Fly casting techniques and a little fishing with Clive Mitchelhill and Glyn Freeman.
On Saturday 19th and 26th November on the Lazonby Estate water on the river Eden, we are hosting (for up to four people) informative casting sessions with both single and double handed rods.
The day is designed for anglers wishing to learn, or improve upon, the many modern day Spey and overhead casting techniques that allow us to enhance our fishing skills.
The sessions will be run by two fully qualified and insured AAPGAI instructors and will be tailor made to suit everyone from the total novice to the more advanced caster.
Alternative kit will also be available to try on the day and a spot of grayling fishing too, allowing you to put some of the aforementioned techniques into practise.
If you have never fly fishing before and have no equipment, but wish to try it for the first time, “don’t worry” all equipment can be provided at no extra cost.
The day will run from 10am – 4pm Total cost: £100 per person.
