It is always a pleasure when we have people from other countries over to fish our waters. I had the pleasure of Miles from Vancouver on Friday and Saturday. The plan was to get Miles Spey casting and hopefully get hold of an Atlantic salmon as well, Miles has caught five species of Pacific salmon over in Canada.

The Spey casting went very well and soon Miles was putting out a long straight line.
We certainly saw a lot of fish over the two day’s, swam a lot of flies, there were fish caught and lost on the lower river that day, but it was not to be for us unfortunately.
Kevin who joined us on the Saturday got a very nice fish which was quickly returned. Kevin very kindly offered to take Miles out the next day for a spin….
A result and the fish returned, which was followed by another around ten pounds also! Thank you Miles for your good company and candor and thank you Kevin for taking Miles out on the Sunday.
