With this dry period and fine weather, river levels on the Eden are dropping in very nicely –
The water temperature at present is at 4 oC after mild temperatures over the winter. There is no reason at this water temperature why salmon should not be able to travel a fair way upstream this early. Well worth a trip out in the next few days based on previous seasons!
